For the mean time here some reasons why Bahia Isle patch is worth the wait. More features are unveiled as the time for the release draws near. One of them is the preview of the Bahia Island patch. I will upload the youtube version here when since youtube is blocked while I was writing this. Bahia Island of FireIt’s not all just fun and games up in the Bahias. The Island of Fire which is extended from Bahia Island, is the home ground of some of the strongest monsters in the land.The huge volcano located on the Island of Fire serves as the largest draw factor for adventurers since the legendary “Weapon of the Devil” from the Deprodine series can be obtained there. - From GE Singapore News Archive (http://ge.iahgames.com/en/news/archive.asp?aid=428 dt=1/12/2007) Inside the Island of Fire, there are four zones that are accessible by using certain types of keys.The key to Island of Fire Zone 1 costs 100,000 visThe key to Island of Fire Zone 2 costs 500,000 visThe key to Island of Fire Zone 3 costs 800,000 visThe key to the Treasure Chest on the Island costs 1,000,000 visThe first zone is accessible form inside the Bahia Island and the remaining zones are accessible by purchasing keys from the merchants.The Island of Fire also creates certain hallucinations so another player may appear to be in Baron mode and is PK-able. PK hungry? Then Island of Fire is for you. Since other players (or you) only appear as Baron but not necessarily means you *really* an enemy, item dropping is not applicable. If the amount of vis you place upon his tombstone is the same amount as the secret number, you will be able to break the seal and unleash Sekhmet. Each time you make an attempt, the tombstone will inform you whether the number you have guessed is higher or lower than the secret answer. You will have a total number of 11 attempts to break the seal, after which you will need to wait a certain number of hours to try again.Sekhmet is a Level 125 raid boss! Defeat him and one of the most legendary weapons in the world will belong to you! Some users might not be able to login to site using the login form on the left panel and this concerned me because some of the guides are available only to registered users. The open source CMS tool I am using is already aware of this bug which appears to be more common with users running IE6. User will attempt to login to the site using the login form and after submitting the details, the page will load as if logging in the user but the page will refresh showing that the user was not able to login. This bug has already been reported and though there is no definite fix, the workaround for this is by clicking the Remember Me box. Users having issues similar to this, please send a report by using the shoutbox or Contact Us (index.php/Contact-Us/Contacts/) page.Thank you. In light with the upcoming patch, sGE's CM Hrin announced the availability of v2.4 Bahia Island Manual Patch last December 3. There are two ways you can download the patch:Granado Espada official patch downloader (http://ge.iahgames.com/download/GE_MPv2.4-dna.exe) Bittorrent file (you need a bittorrent client) (img/geSEA_2.4_Patch_80000.exe.torrent) Update: These files/links are now available in Downloads section (index.php/Downloads/Downloads.html) .Some notes that you should be aware of about the manual patch:The patch is available through bittorrent as of now and no official CD or DVD release yet for the patch.You do not need a third party bittorrent client if you are going to use the GE Official downloader because the file comes with the bittorrent client. The patch will be installed right after you finished downloading.If you opt to use the torrent file instead, you will need a third party program to download the patch. You can download and install Azureus (http://azureus.sourceforge.net/) or uTorrent (http://www.utorrent.com) and open the .torrent file with your bittorrent client.
