Granado Espada and IAHGames has announced on November 30, 2007 that Granado Espada Singapore will be Free-to-Play! That's right, GE will be available for all gamers to enjoy. The starting date of F2P business model will be announced shortly by IAHGames. The announcement is available here.

In line with this, all players who have previously topped-up their accounts beginning August 30 or those who were given 90-days of free play are entitled to GE's Loyalty Reward Package Giveaway. The package includes:

• 5 x Enhancement Tranquilizers
• 5 x Enhancement Boosters
• 5 x Soul Crystals
• 5 x Hrin’s Potions
• 1 x Combat Manual Expert (30 days)
• 1 x Tactics Manual (15 days)
• 1 x Forgotten Territory Pass

And that's not all! Gamers who have remaining game time in their accounts will have their game time converted to GPoints. The guidelines for the game time conversion are as follows:

• IAHGames will convert 1 day of game time to 30 G-points.
• A round-up policy will be applied, i.e. If you have 10.3 days left, we will round it up to 11 days.
• The conversion will be performed on the F2P day during the scheduled maintenance.

So let's say that on the first day of F2P you have 20.1 days game time, 20.1 will be rounded off to 21 days. Then 30 GPoints will be applied for every 1 day of game time so in this example, you will have:

21 days x 30 Gpoints = 630 GPoints (converted from your remaining game time).

This is good news for some players but some people think that being F2P will be the force that will suck cheaters and botters into the game. Let's just hope that GE will remain to be the best MMORPG ever!
