Granado Espada Game Basics

To begin playing Granado Espada download and install the client. Current version is v2.1.18 and is available here

Start the client by double clicking the icon at the Desktop and wait for the client to finish downloading the patches. This may take a while depending on the number of patches that needs to be downloaded. Then start the game.

You will be then taken to the login screen and provide the username and password you used during game registration. Registration is required for this game and you can do so here.

Select the server you want to login to. In GE, you can select two types of servers, the PK mode and the non-PK mode. The difference between the two servers is that in PK server, other players can attack you - with some excemptions - anywhere except in towns. This is the Baron Mode or PK mode. While in non-PK server, this feature is disabled making it that monsters alone can attack you while training (except during colony wars).

Supplying the correct credentials will get you in the game. The Barracks window will show right after you login where you select the characters you want to use.

Game Objective

The objective of the game is to explore the world of Granado Espada and have your characters complete the missions given by the NPC and train along the way so that you can participate in other game events like Colony Wars and Boss Summoning. Rare items are also available to those wish to enjoy the game to its fullest.

Above all, the main objective of this is to have fun!Laughing

Creating your Family

Granado Espada lets the player control up to three characters simultaneously with the unique MCC system. This way, the players not only gives 'first names' to their characters but 'family name' as well. The in-game name (IGN) of each player is referred to as Family Name (you use the family name to contact a player via private message, the faction lists the family name, etc.).

When you first start the game, you will be asked what family name you would like to use. Please remember that only family names that do not violate GE rules are allowed (which means no pornographic name, etc.). However, you cannot use spaces or special characters (but you can use ascii codes to generate special characters).

When you have made up your mind, you will be asked to create your very first character. You can only create one for now, you can create the rest of your team later on.  For the complete list of available basic characters, go here. Aside from the basic characters, you can collect cards during the game so that you can choose from available Recruited NPC's in addition to your basic characters.

After you create your character, you will be back in the Barracks and select your first character to begin the game.

Starting the Game

To start playing, you can select where to begin the game. If you have just started the game, the place available is The Jaclain. However, as you progress through the game, you can select two locations everytime you login. More details here .

How to Get Money

In the world of GE, monsters will not drop money. However, they drop items that can be sold in merchants in towns.  Defeating a monster will make it drop items which can range from rare equipment to quest materials or simply an item to be sold to merchants in exchange for money. Vis is the currency honored in GE.

To retrieve an item, move the cursor over the item and left-click. To pick up all items lying on the ground with one command, press Ctrl+Shift+Left Click and your characters will automatically gather all items that belong to your family or has been abandoned.

There are some items that can be sold to merchants in town so you can get Vis. However, some items like those that you get during quests cannot be sold.
