Barracks System

Granado Espada features a unique way of presenting the roster of characters available for the player called the Barracks System. Each player has the option to use up to four barracks with 9 characters for each barrack. This gives the player the power to collect up to 36 characters (stock character or recruited NPC). Now that's a lot of characters!

To rotate the screen, right click + drag your mouse left or right or click the tiny arrow on the left or right side of the screen.

Creating a character is very easy.  Click the Create a Character menu. You will be presented with the list of characters available for you. If you have character cards in your inventory, RNPC's will be displayed here too.  Refer to this link to get a detailed description of basic characters. Select one character, provide a First name and you will return to the barracks. Your new character is ready. To select a character, just click the character and he/she will walk towards the screen. You can select up to three characters. 
 

Granado Espada also gives the player two options where to start the game. One option is to start the game where you saved your Starting Point. Starting Points can be saved by talking to the soldiers in towns.

The other option is to start where you last logged off. This could be anywhere from towns to the deepest dungeons. However, if one of your characters is unconscious when you logged out, that character will not be available when you go back to where you logged off. One way to select again the unconscious character is to start in saved Starting Point.

When you are ready, select either Start with Previous Team or Start with New Team to begin playing Granado Espada.
